Primary oligoarticular JIA FLS are highly homogeneous. FLS grown from JIA synovial fluid samples were evaluated by immunofluorescence and flow cytometry. FLS were first gated based on light scatter properties, then dead cells were excluded. FLS stained with anti-CD14 and anti-CD90 (red histograms) were compared with the background fluorescence of pooled, unstained FLS (blue histograms).
