Serum levels of human neutrophil lipocalin (HNL) in 16 healthy children compared with in 69 children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Thirty-seven of the 69 children with JIA were on no medical treatment and 32 of 69 were on treatment. The Kruskal-Wallis test was used, as well as a post-hoc analysis (Dunn): healthy vs. no treatment p = 0.001 and healthy vs. treatment p < 0.05
