  1. Severe visual impairment is defined as a vision score of poorer than 0.1 (Snellen 20/200)
  2. Moderate visual impairment is defined as vision equal to or better than 0.1 and poorer than 0.3 (Snellen equal to 20/200 and poorer than 20/70). Mild or no visual impairment is defined as vision equal to or better than 0.3 (Snellen 20/70)
