The patients received either DMARDs, conventional synthetic (csDMARDs) or biological (bDMARDs), glucocorticoids or a combination of drugs from these groups. The patients who were without these medications either received no drug therapy or only nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
