Annual prevalence of hospitalizations for patients with primary/secondary diagnoses of juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM). Survey weighted logistic regression was performed to compare the prevalence of hospitalization for JDM over time. Hospitalization rates for patients with a primary or secondary diagnosis of JDM did not significantly increase after 2003 compared with years 2002–2003 (generalized linear models, P < 0.05)
